Regular Stone Soup Storyteller David Doyle, pictured
left and above in front of the sculpture of the sea-god Lludd, joined other
members of the Association of Applied Artists for a three-week project
centred on the village of Eype in Dorset. The project was to culminate
in a large event, The Big Burn, on a nearby beach but due to the adverse
weather conditions a smaller event took place.
Members of the Association regrouped for a week in Bridport,
and The Big Burn finally took place on Bridport's East Beach.
David's main role in the project was to create and deliver
a story that connected the sculptures created to the place(s) and community.
