The Dichotomous Dashing Duo that is David Doyle and Nik Brookson celebrated Stone Soup's fifth appearance at the Lit Fest with their usual Flair, Panache, Joi de Vivre, Flamboyance, and, as you would expect, a smidgen of Anarchy. However, this year the Paradoxical Perambulatory Pair also become a Tantalising Troubadorian Trio, with the inclusion of a Wanton Bass-Playing Gypsy Queen by the name of Sharon Evans. Sharon joined the boys for two reasons: firstly to attempt to keep them under control (a lost cause), and, secondly, to add a level of Compositional Composure to the Musical Mayhem of their summer show, The Sh*tt*ng Donkey (What did you expect !?).

As well as performing The Sh*tt*ng Donkey, Stone Soup also appeared, in the usual Duo Disguise, to tell a variety of stories at the 'Bowling Green' and 'House of Fairy Tales' venues.
