Plymouth City Council, with the aid of the general public, is building a new 'Secret Garden' in West Hoe Park. To this end there were various FREE activities in the park during half-term week (11-15 Feb). Storytellers David Doyle and Nik Brookson were in the park on the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. They told their multi-cultural tales whilst seated in the Storytelling Chair created by local children, with assistance from Touch Wood Enterprises. They were also joined by Artist/Maker Sharon Evans from Tequila Witchcraft, who ran workshops in making willow/withy Pentagrams and Dreamcatchers. |
